Our Story

 Hi! My name is Misty and I am the owner of Mayfield Skye Designs. I am a candle maker, RN, photographer and mama to 4 little girls. The idea of starting this journey came to me when I realized I was getting headaches every time I burned my favorite candles. I took a deep dive into all things candle related and found out how many toxins are in most candles. I spent months testing, learning the craft, and sourcing toxin free wax and fragrances to use. And here we are! I just celebrated my first year of business and I still get excited thinking of new designs. This job gives my creator heart such joy. I am so grateful to my supporters and customers that have encouraged me and kept me going when obstacles would come up. I’m so excited to see what comes in this new year and hope you will join me on this journey!
